International

The Global Leadership Network transformation did not start entirely in the Philippines. It began as an event for “curious, growth-minded, change-driven people” outside the country and was known as the “Leadership Summit”.

The event debuted in 1995 as a single event based in Chicagoland in the United States.

As demand for leadership development opportunities grew, the Summit began to expand as the “Global Leadership Summit”. It was broadcasted LIVE annually into volunteer host site venues and churches across the U.S. By 2005, The Global Leadership Summit quickly began gaining international recognition.

In 2012, our team in the Philippines hosted our very first GLS and we decided to continue the event every year and expand to more sites in the country.

As more and more countries joined in hosting their own GLS through affiliation, the international team behind GLS decided to create the Global Leadership Network, an international organization dedicated to creating the best leadership content and tools, to further connect to countries internationally as more and more countries decided to join.

Today, The Global Leadership Network internationally hosts the longest-running, greatest-reaching leadership event of its kind.
